Hotel Villa Rita is situated about 300 metres from the main road in the countryside just outside the walls of antique Paestum, on a property of two hectares. It's an ideal, peaceful setting for those who are seeking a break from the city. The hotel has a restaurant, pool and private parking.
For those who love the sun and swimming, our pool is situated in an oasis of trees and lawn area made all the more pleasurable with an outdoor bar, tables, umbrellas and desk-chairs.
The pool will be opened until the first half of October.
The Villa is just under 1 km from the sea and does not offer beach service (nor does it offer transfers). From mid-June to mid-September, upon request, it is possible to collect a coupon at the hotel for a discount on the rental of umbrellas and deck chairs at the bathing establishment which has an agreement with us.
The main road of Paestum and the 2024 entertainment area, the Planet Arena, are only 600 meters away.

There is no lift, you must communicate any walking difficulties at the time of booking to secure a room on the ground floor or hall level.

Paestum and surroundigs
At only 400 metres of distance you can find the entrance of the ruins of Posidonia, founded by greeks in the sixth century BC and became in the third century a latin colony under the name of Paestum. It retained the name until the third Century BC when the Romans gained control and renamed the area Paestum, the name that it still goes by today. Paestum is now considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Magna Graecia, thanks to the presence of the three large Doric Temples located within the mighty city walls: the amphitheatre, the forum and the Archeological Museum, which features the finest examples of Greek tomb paintings, and the famous Tomb of the Diver.
